Each year, Tenacre's Annual Calendar pairs inspiring artwork with passages from the Bible and Christian Science literature.
We're grateful for your willingness to support this project by sharing your artwork for consideration. It is a joy to witness the many ways inspiration finds expression through art.
The theme for the 2027 calendar is Comfort. The theme serves as a guide for the calendar as a whole, but your artwork does not need to illustrate it directly. We thoughtfully pair selected artwork with passages from the Bible and Christian Science literature, allowing meaningful connections to emerge between image and text.
As we assemble the calendar, we consider how the artwork works together to create a visually cohesive whole.
Past calendar artwork has included watercolor, gouache, acrylic, photography, and mixed media, with subjects ranging from abstract compositions to landscapes, florals, wildlife, and other nature-inspired imagery.

Our selection process takes place in September. Once our review is complete, we will be in touch to let you know the outcome of your submission.
Selected artists will retain copyright to their artwork. Before publication, they will be asked to sign an Artist Licensing Agreement granting Tenacre permission to reproduce the artwork for the 2027 Annual Calendar and related promotional materials.
We welcome artwork submissions from anyone. Selected work is paired with passages from the Bible, the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, and other Christian Science texts, so artists should be comfortable with their work being presented in that context.

In past years, some artists have chosen to donate the use of their artwork, while others have chosen to receive remuneration. Please indicate on the submission form whether, if your artwork is selected, you would prefer to donate its use or receive remuneration. Artwork is selected solely on its suitability for the calendar, regardless of compensation preference. Artists who choose remuneration will receive $250 for each selected piece.
