Be part of an exciting, new initiative for young adults, the Christian Science Nursing Youth Service Corps (CSNYSC). Tenacre is one of seven Christian Science nursing facilities hosting the national program, open to those ages 18 to 30.

What You’ll Do

In CSNYSC, you’ll get an introduction to the ministry of Christian Science nursing including the ethics and practical skills necessary to care for others. Plus, you’ll bond and work with other participants across the U.S. in a cohort that meets regularly.

After a two-week training with your cohort, participants provide Christian Science nursing assistance while serving in other various roles to learn about management, operations, and everything it takes to run a facility. It’s great professional experience based in serving and loving others.

Program Details

Positions are available for up to 14 individuals, with two openings at each participating facility. Below are few details about the program.

  • Fall cohort starts mid-September
  • Applications due August 15, 2021
  • Paid opportunity ($15/hr) with housing provided
  • Educational stipend awarded upon successful completion of program
  • Flexible work schedule that permits another job/schooling outside of CSNYSC
  • Three options available: 9-month part-time, 12-week part-time, or 12-week full-time
